By Linda Kotschevar, Program Coordinator

You are invited to join United Women in Faith from across the state for an enjoyable day of education, spiritual growth, fellowship, and fun!

Learn about racial equity and how we can bring an equity lens to everything we do in our organization, our churches, and our communities.

Keynote speaker plans are still in the process of being finalized. However, we can tell you that Shannon Priddy, past UWFaith President and current Executive Director for Development and Donor Relations, will be joining us from National with updates on The Legacy Endowment Fund.

Be sure to mark your calendars for October 7th  in Hastings!

Mission Opportunity

Gathering Kits for UMCOR Can your UWFaith local unit or District collect supplies for the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)? Supplies can be brought to any UWFaith gathering or meeting for assembly. Several Districts are doing so at their Spring Gatherings. You can also assemble kits with your local unit or District. Supplies and kits will be collected at Annual Conference and taken to the Midwest Mission Distribution Center. From there they will be distributed around the world where they are needed most. You can also find instructions for assembling kits and descriptions of supplies on either   the UMCOR website  or  the Midwest Mission  website.
